  Metro is a very good supermarket, for a small town like Cobourg. The meat dept. is far superior to NoFrills; and Metro carries fresh carrot juice in large containers (which I now buy on a regular basis). Also appreciate Metro's organic vegetables, cheese section, and fresh seafood.

  The staff that handle food (pizza) at the deli need to be checked on. One young woman handled my pizza with no gloves while another was trying to do it properly and use the supplied gloves. The date was 17/01/2017, around 1:00PM. Two young women on duty. It was the taller, larger one who thought that wearing gloves to handle food was not something she needed to do. Peter Tyrrell

  I really appreciate having a store like Metro in Cobourg. Love their seafood and meat departments. Best in the area.

  typically under staffed so there is usually a wait, but has a great selection available to choose from

  Good deli, great selection for take-away. Reliably best quality meat in the area. Prices are competitive with other area stores with similar selections. The most comprehensive food inventory of any area grocery store.
